We will be making a change to our FedEx playoff system. It will be effective for this upcoming Winter Season. After the conclusion of regular tour events, there will a Hacker championship event and an Amateur championship event. Their final championship event will use FedEx playoff points. A Hacker and an Amateur winner will be crowned season champs. Your last 4 event must be played as a Hacker or Amateur in order to participate in their respective championships.

If Hacker or Amateur players quality for the normal PGA playoffs, they'll be able to play in those as well.

1: We will be adding other types of tournaments to our exhibition tournaments such as Hazard golf, stableford, team alt shot hazard, team scramble stableford, bracketed match play, and many more.

2: New tie breaker rules for next PGA Tour season will be posted shortly.

3: We are still looking into changing the PGA Tour's FedEx playoffs system for next season.

Changes to tie breaker for next season (PGA Tour only):

Ties will be broken using the "score card matching system". We will start score card matching In the new winter season. This will be done by comparing the scorecards for the last 9 or 18 holes of tied players for tournament in which there is a tie. We will use the indexes, 1 being hardest and 18 being easiest hole, and compare tied players gross scores for each hole starting with the hardest hole first until some one has a lower score on a particular hole.

For handicapped events we will use same method, after adjusting scores for each players handicap.

We will start with the last round of tourney and then go to the next to last round if 1 round still does not determine a winner.

Handicapped Example: Player A has handicap of -5, player B has a handicap of +3.. if this was a 9 hole tourney Player A would have 3 strokes added to the 3 hardest holes. Then we give player B 1 less stroke for the 2 hardest holes and compare hole to hole until 1 of the players has a better score for that hole.

18 hole event would have added strokes to 5 holes for player A on the 5 hardest holes, and player B would have gotten 3 taken away on the 3 hardest holes
9 hole events we will half the handicap and round up to the nearest whole number.

We will be making a change for next season's playoffs.  Still ironing out the details but goal is to allow the other 2-3 levels their own separate playoffs and cup championships to go along with the current FedEx cup championship for Tour Pro players.

PGA Summer Tour:

Congrats to Heavyswinger for winning the FedEx NET Championship

Congrats to Affo01 for winning the FedEx GROSS Championship.

Both players will have their names etched in the OGT FedEx Championship trophies. Images of the trophy will posted within 2-3 weeks. Thanks to all that supported OGT and participated in our PGA Tour Summer season.

New season will start 10/2. This week will be a transition week. There are a number of exhibitions, challenges, and combines to play on the current tour. New events will be created and ready to play on the new tour come 10/2. Please allow us time to transition the tour site menus to the new tours. As previously stated, we will be posting changes to playoff system, tie breakers, adding hazard, stableford, and bracketed match play to our line up of exhibitions. Sorry Tres no. because the PGA tour only plays 18 hole events. We do however have 9 hole events every week along with other formats that play a bit quicker than an 18 hole round like ctp's and challenge tees...

For the upcoming PGA Tour Winter 18 season, if you have 5 GROSS FedEx tournament wins in either Amateur or Pro level, you will have to move up to the next higher level. This is to insure nobody camps out in a lower level and wins nearly every single GROSS event.
