can't its a GC2-T . There is no display. Since it is software there has to be a fix. Any suggestions.

Connect with your phone app and take a screen shot of that.

LA seem low for a 49 yard carry wedge shot. Did the shot actually launch that low?

What happens when you hit "flop" type shots, ie with a definite open face, do you still get a left spin reading?

flop shot

Ball Speed: 43
Launch: 54.9
Push Pull: 10.8L
Side Spin: 737L
Back Spin: 2178
Carry: 32 yds

I have taken several readings with different clubs and sent them to Foresight. For example here is a driver:

Ball Speed:137
Launch: 10.7
Push Pull:4.2L
Side Spin:204R
BackSpin:4875
Carry: 203

As you can see the driver is correct. My left issue is only with wedges. Can't figure it out. Hopefully Foresight can.

The first thing I'd like to know is are your wedges custom fit and if so how long ago was the fitting? If not, why not???

The reason I'd like to know is it sounds to me that your clubs are sitting too upright (toe up) for you at impact which would explain both the extreme push pull numbers and side spin numbers.

Basically the more loft you have on the club the more the lie angle affects things. You can deliver a perfectly square club face on a square path, strike it from dead centre and miss the target by a long way just because of poorly fitted clubs. Since getting HMT last year I have seen this on too many occasions where players have been fitted for clubs using a lie board that's been placed on top of a mat - I wont go into that anymore now but if any of you ever go anywhere and they try to fit lie angle like that please walk away!!

On a side note that backspin with the driver is way too high imo you must be hitting down quite steep into the ball - feel free to send me a swing video, might help to explain whats happening more too

yes my clubs were not properly fit. I hit a few with a driver with the tape on it. Then I i think it was a 7 iron and do remember using a lie board inside a simulator at the course. After that he said I only need standard clubs and no alterations were required. I have been wanting to get new clubs and properly fit. My clubs are a few years old.

Foresight has been communicating with me and do think the issue was the use of the tilt calibration software. They are going to send me a flash program to erase the software from the unit then see if that fixes it. If not then I will need to send it back to them.

So Foresight got back to me. My GC2 has to be shipped back to them for repair. Please let everyone know DO NOT RUN CALIBRATION TOOL on a GC2Tb it screws it up. So I will be out of tournaments for 10 days or more.

Why would calibration software be beneficial for GC2 but not GC2T? Is there reason to believe that the software would destabilize the GC2? I assumed the guts of both of these were the same?

They would not get into specifics with me. Other than to say that software is not meant for GC2T. GC2T is calibrated from the factory and does not need to be done again. Therefore I have to send it back to them so they can recalibrate it. It sucks. I wish they would put that on their website.

They did ask where I got that software from too.

Question for You Shane. When doing a club fit. What is your process on fitting someone with clubs.

Just curious, did the hook spin with your wedges go away when you got it back? I am noticing the same thing with my GC2 (not the T version). I have a CCE mat and am thinking maybe the mat has something to do with it.

I've been told the calibration software will not work with new GC2 units. Anybody have anymore to add?

Calibration tool will only work with the legacy GC2 driver and firmware.
